| the sho-me state series
what a crock. very unorganized. no wonder there are such low turn outs. last year I heard they didnt even have the awards thing like they told everyone they were having. thats not a good way to keep a series going. I no I'll never go to one again.

In the series defense, they did have a husbanb/wife combo that were helping things out and werent very good at coming thru with the things they had promised to help with. They are no longer involved with the series and the trunout keeps getting biggger at every rd. They did have some first yr problems and they continue to have an issue or 2 but the leaders are more then willing to work along with the riders and get to the bottom of the issues. The series is having an awards banquet/ride day this yr at the end of Oct, and are also giving a Motovert away to one lucky racer. There is still time to get your name in the pot for the give away bike. All it takes is one class entry to get your name in the pot for the possibilty of winning the bike. |

thats funny jack rob, since we were the ones that put most the effort in doing everything at the beginning of the year. allen did the whole schedule, which prob. would of never got done if it were left to to steve and his girlfriend steve. and as far as growing every round. the results speak for them selves. 18 to 38 or so. with merwin being the biggest at 50 some. its been downhill since merwin pretty much. keep up the good work of promoting stuff that you havent even been to the last two rounds of. ha ha did you not show up because you new Jonon and the fast guys were going to be there.

i was at the last round in merwin, i thought things went good, sign ups started when said, practice started on time, had an intercom and announced motos. i thought the track was awesome, set up for pitbikes and prepped for pitbikes. the only mistake i saw was on scoring for one class which was fixed in a timely manner. i say good event and thank you to those who put on this event.

unless you ride 12 inch am or vet you wont have anybody to ride against. ha ha. and 419, I was actually at 4 of the rounds. one was the first merwin race which was pretty good. but then again RJ always does ok. 47 sucked, hlr sucked, and Cabool wasnt that great either. we raced big bikes at three of them. just didnt think it was worth the money to race against no one on the pitters.
