| 12" wheels for a ct?
I am looking for 12" wheels to fit on a ct. I am also looking for forks and a disc brake set up to go with those 12 inch wheels. With out braking tha bank. What should I use? where can I get them? and is it a bolt up thing or fabbing needed? Thanks |

I ran 3 spoke NSR50 wheels, but went with a Custom G-craft swingarm and G-craft triples with 30mm NSR50 forks. Talk to the PM member Dan Lorenze as he's going through a 12" budget build as we speak and may be able to offer you some pointers. Mine can't be classified as a budget build. |

My version is pretty cheap if you go with spoked style wheels. I'm talking about $300 total for both wheels, tires, and forks. |

True.. But I'll still spend minimum of $1000 when it's all done: Wheels and tires,Rotors,Sprocket,Chain,Rear Caliper,Rear brake line, 12mm Axle's, some speedo hardware and Powder Coating. I'll have to fab up the brake carriers somehow, that's the fun stuff.. Budget to some, for me that's a lot of cash to spend on my little CT70.. Not sure I'm really gonna do it yet.. I have the wheels but waiting it out to see what parts I can find on the used market... I'm in the middle of another CT70 for my wife right now and spending money like it's going out of style. So, my 12" wheels are not the priority (yet).. I would like to add that I've been poking around a lot for NSR rotors, so far Dan Z's the guy with the hook up on these.. | |

| Re: 12" wheels for a ct? http://www.planetminis.com/f14/pics-...ild-71679.html THis is the older version...china front end conversion and a china rear end setup. Its been upgraded since to run the 2006 RCM front fork setup and rear wheel and brake. Got all the bits as brand new takeoffs for $200, got the tires and with shipping did it for about $300. The only thing that had to be done was a custom stem pressed in to fit the CT70 frame. If you go this way, I have an extra stem made. Cost ya $100 shipped though. |

Well I have a full setup of stock Ape wheels that are 12" with new tires. Come with brakes and the option of either shoe or disk in the front. I think the whole setup could fit the CT70 forks and swinger without too much modding.

Wow that looks great. I didn't think I would like the ct with spokes, but it looks cool. Where did you get the China forks? I am also looking into the RCM option |

I gotta be honest...I think the way to go is to take the new pitster front end and motard wheels and put them on a CT. Vendors should be able to help you with that. If I ever build another big dollar CT I'd go this route. |
