i just cant get this thing to idle right... any suggestions, what is the stock carb settings? also this is a 70 mini trail

I'm with doublejj here, clean, clean, and clean again. Once you're done, clean it again. Whenever a thread like this pops up, the guy (like you) is getting really frustrated and wants to throw in the towel. Every single time, after about 20 cleanings, it begins to run right. If you don't want to mess with all this, buy a newer version Keihin carb for your Honda.
