I like this line. tmas Check out the close up when we took off the air filter cover for the first time ever. Do you see the oil that has settled to the bottom, the factory Honda filter oil? That in my mind is priceless, and shows the originality of this bike. |

The original owners manual too. Looks like it has never been opened. tmas |

To be honest, I have a 1000mile CT that is in better shape than that. It may have 0.2 miles on it, but where has it sat? If it was in a heated room with a cover on it it's whole life it would be in nicer shape... Just my 2 cents.

I'm with XR80David. Look at some of the nuts and bolts, corroded and rusty. The carb. and head look corroded as well. If you look at picture # 16 on the Ebay ad, the carb. is full of corrosion. Rim's have some pitting. The ad says its been "untouched". It looks like it has been waxed. You can see the left over wax that wasn't rubbed off on the frame. If I were to buy that it would be stripped and littered with after market parts any way.I'd start with the top triple and bars.

I can't believe you guys are knocking a bike that's 37 years old with .2 miles on it . Everything in life deteriorates . It's amazing how well the chrome stayed un-pited . I think this bike is definitely worth $6,100 . |

| Re: 1971 Honda CT70. UNTOUCHED .2 miles Oh don't get me wrong, the bike is in fantastic shape. But if it were properly stored and cared for it would truly look like it had .2 miles or, brand new.
