| 1979-1987 Z50R Tanks - Now Obsolete
Just a quick FYI... 1979-1987 Honda Z50R tanks in the OEM colors just went obsolete worldwide from Honda. If you find one on ebay or elsewhere for sale in the aftermarket at a reasonable price, I would highly recommend picking it up before this information catches on and the tanks double or triple in price. Still available are the Honda Monkey tanks in different colors, the cheap chinese tanks and the Polished Aluminum Big Cedar tanks, but if you need an OEM Z50R tank from Honda with factory correct paint, you are out of luck. Sidenote - If you have a friend named Amir, don't let him ride his bicycle into your new tank while you are videotaping the whole scene since that tank can't be replaced. ouch. what a heart breaker. That's the reason why I don't want to take my purple monkey tank out of the box. |

Yeah, I think I had that tank for a week before that happened. I covered them with some touch up paint but they still show. Only got one scratch since then. A really small one on the left side towards the back. Hard to notice since it's kind of under the seat. Are NOS seats still available? When will they run out?

I don't really want to do that. I figured if you knew you could post it up but I don't want you to do any extra work to find out. I don't need one as I bought one at the same time I bought my NOS tank.
