| 1979 ct 70 killing plugs?
so my friend picked up a ct 70 for 60 bucks. a mouse was living in the gas tank area and ate the wires. so i had to rewire it. at first i was using the lighting wires by mistake and was getting weak spark. so we put another coil in it. im pretty sure its 6 volt but it could be 12 volt. then i realised that i should be wiring the coil to the black wire. so i wired it up to that and the spark is great. then we had it running for a minute and pulled the plug to check the spark and there was none. tried another spark plug and it had spark again. then it killed that one. do you think this problem is because the coil is a 12 volt? or is it something else?
