So if you invested over 8k into a bike how much would you sell it for?

Im sure if and when i ever put price tags on my bike you would think my asking prices were stupid as well.

He just offered his uninformed opinion. Take it easy on the kid, Brad.

Your right Brad. I've thought about what you've said and perhaps the price is fair if it's a genuine JDM Monkey. Also to clarify my point also, I'd 'consider' buying your bikes at ~38% off retail because to me, you have more desirable parts on your bike.
No disrespect intended.

This is Jeff's bike at minigunz. The bike is sweet. I've had the pleasure of riding it and 80mph seemed very obtainable. Very nice bike and since it's an original, worth the money.

Jeff knows how to build em, I think it's a pretty good price. We just don't see to many decked out Monkey's for sale... so when they do come around everyone seems to get sticker shock...

Re: 1991 Honda Baja Monkey Street legal

It probably is worth $5000.00 but he'll probably never sell it.I know I pretty much quit selling bikes/parts because you never get anything near what they are worth.I put them up for sale for what I'll take for them.If they don't sell they get set aside or thrown in the scrap metal bin at work.Aluminum parts go to my buddy that collects/recycles aluminum.Nice bike.Makes me wish I had $5000.00 laying around.

You're right. That's probably why I initially said it was too much money. Now with a closer look at it, the bike is really worth $5k.

Re: 1991 Honda Baja Monkey Street legal

I have only seen 4 of these japanese Baja monkeys in the states, There are lots of other Monkeys over here but not real Baja models, The last stock one I saw for sale was in england at UK MONKEYBIKE and they were asking $4500.00 for just a slow stock model. Add the Kitaco 108 kit, 5 speed Kitaco trans. ,the oil cooler kit,the 4" longerDaytona swingarm, the Daytona gas shocks, the longer fork legs, the 10" Kitaco spun aluminum rims, the handle bar risers, the registration in california, and the price is double.
