Hey I have a 91 z50 and it wont start or shift gears. It feels like the kick starter only engauges half way or something. Is this a common problem?

Has it been sitting for a while? Sounds like a clutch adjustment or clutch problem.

1991 semi automatic. Find clutch adjustment on the repair manual link. tmas http://honda50.com/partslists/z50r-shop.pdf |

So I adjusted the clutch and it seemed to make the kickstarter grab harder but it still spins free if I kick it too hard. Also, it still wont shift gears I'm wondering if the clutch needs to be replaced?
