| 20mm ct70 jetting help
I got the 20mm sheng wey bearing race cam clamp on filter ported 25/22mm valve head it revs ok up to 1/4 throttle. wants the choke then it needs to be taken off. i tried all the needle settings and it runs the best middle to bottom clip and <1 turn out of the mixture screw. I don't know where to start with this. I hope the porting didn't screw up the velocity... |

Yep still 72cc. Have to give it the throttle slow around 1/4, but revs up fast after that without a load to over 10k rpms.

I don't know what jets the Shengway runs, but a stock 72cc motor with a 20mm Mikuni VM20 carb jets best at 15/130. If you could find the size of those jets and match them relative to the Shengway you'd be golden. Sounds to me like your pilot is too big and/or your needle should be moved one notch upward. |

fatcaat, when you say stock is that completely stock? The SW takes Kehein jets, and has an 86 main. I guess I could measure a 130 mikuni and get the similiar in Kehein jets. It just doesn't have that pickup that I was hoping for and only winds out on the flats.
