Hey from Australia... Our friends here at Honda have decided to import a few of the 40th anniversary limited edition Z50Js and im tossing up wether or not to grab one. I have a few questions that some of you guys might be able to answer? Anyone know how many there are / will be produced world wide? Anyone know when they will stop producing the Z50 as we know it? I have heard rumors that its not far away but nothing for sure... ummm, arrrrrr, ?? ? |

They only produce the Limited edition Monkeys for the Japanese market and 3000-3500 ltds are produced in any given year. Purchase it because you want to build it and ride it, not to collect dust. They are going to build monkeys next year, but the rumor is they will have fuel injection... If you want it, buy it but don't bank on the 40th anniversary bike to be an investment anytime soon. The 30th anniversary bike isn't gaining value and most likely won't for years and years to come. In Japan, they sell terrible. I can usually find 5 model years back still new from various dealers in Japan from 2002-2007 still sitting. | |
