DrATV is $120 for an alloy 88 kit, 110 for an 85 steel jug kit. $100 for a kit that uses a 70 head. Should be able to get an old CT type 25/22 head for the $20 difference, and get the big ports too.

trail bikes makes an 88 big bore kit. i think its 140 for cylinder, piston, and all gaskets. you just have to be sure you specify its for 6v when you order i run this bbk on my 78z, but i added a sheng wey 20mm carb. very nice motor combo. not too crazy, but way more fun than stock |

Do their kits include cams? Trizz - I used a 75cc Kitaco piston & cylinder with an XR50 carb on my last K2 build. It worked out great, with smooth, tractable power. This time I'm looking for a little more ass, though. I may try the TB or DrATV kit this time. How's the quality of those kits? |

Honda Trail Bikes i have 3 honda motors with trail bikes kits in them. 6v stage 1 kit with 20mm carb 12v 88 race head kit 12v 108 stroker with tb 3spd manual clutch i love tb motor parts. very reasonably priced and virtually bulletproof. you wont be disappointed. even the stage 1 motor is a huge improvement in power and performance. my z will bring the front wheel up with a twist of the throttle but is'nt scary. the race head motor is my favorite all arounder. the 108 is a bit of a beast, but crazy fun i stunt all these motors, running them high rpms constantly and beating the snot out of them and have never had a single problem Last edited by trizzbizzle; 12-02-2007 at 01:16 PM. | |
