| the '82 work in progress

What are your plans? On the lowest pic.....Make sure you clean the paint out of the sterring bearing races. tmas |

Yeah, get the paint out of the bearing races. Looks nice. Take good care of the lower chain guide. Honda only sells the longer black version for later models. The short red ones are hard to find. Not really expensive, but hard to find. The seat cover looks nice, just seems like the somehow the foam managed to shrink. Is that a 70cc motor? Are you going to clean up that motor or get a new one?

...some people just dont get it... haha. I half ass restored an 84 a couple years back. No idea where the pictures ended up. Those pictures of the tank bring back so many memories of sanding bondo on my 84 tank. Looks awesome, and I would do everything you did too. I ended up putting stock CRF50 fork legs with fork guards on the one i did. It was snazzy.

The 82 is looking good! They look so much better freshly painted. I know what you mean about sanding bondo on z50 gas tanks! Mine was pretty dented up too. I figured it would take 2 heavy coats of bondo to get it right. It ended up taking more like 10 coats. When I was done the entire tank was bondo covered. You're done with the bondo now?
