Ok I've been re-building a 82' Z50. I've got a few so I'll probably end up selling this one when it's all said and done. Freshly powdercoated Gloss Black Frame, swinger, frt/rear hubs/brk panels, footpeg brkt/pegs, brk lvr, forks with Firetruck Red stock wheels, Shinko wide white wall tires, Moose Steering stem bearings, Moose frt/rear wheels bearings, stock motor, New counter sprkt/Chain, Chrome bars, halway decent tank painted gloss black or if the MONEY is right NOS 1986 Z50RD Chrome tank, New fenders, New black seat cover with foam, KITACO rear shocks. The only down side so far is that someone has welded the kick start lever onto the shaft......Let me know what you guys think.....FOR SALE.....

The bike is looking great, however, the tank has been mounted and is now just Old Stock.

looks like a really sloppy weld........ why would anyone weld there kickstarter to the shaft.

I see it all the time on old Z's. People to lazy to tighten the kicker bolt, starts to slip on the shaft, next thing you know, the spline is destroyed. Why change the kick shaft? Break out the welder Zeke, we can fixer up! She's as good a new!
