86 Z50r

Hi, I recently aquired a 86 z50r and the handle bars are a lil small, how do I go about putting BMX style handlebars on it? Any one have the top tripple for sale that will work?

I will ship it to the US for the same price as Canada, I also could build a complete bar kit if you want

dirtbkr188 mentioned another solution. Get OEM bar mounts for a 1979 z50r and then buy a set of higher bars. Probably a lot cheaper in total than buying one of those billet clamps and a set of bars.

Thanks guys I'll try the OEM route, BMX bars can be picked up at any bicycle shop right? Anyone have some cheap ones they would be interested in selling?

I have old xr clamps on my Z. Got them at a MC junk yard.

I have a pair of those clamps needed for $10 plus shipping. They will need some paint, and came off my ZB50. Same as the Z50 clamps. Hit me up if you want 'em.

Nice call on the AMR's. Looks like that will solve my problem too!
