Crf50 front ends will fit but you have to run crf50 wheels. They are too narrow to run Z50 tires. If you search the forum you will find a couple of posts and pics from those that have done it. Let me know if you want to sell your forks.

PS. Im not sure if that front end will work but the stock crf50 front end does.

I know that CRF/XR guts will go in your Z forks (that's what I did), so if your lowers are bent that could be an option.

Re: 92 z50 front end ?

I have a similar problem with my 1991 Z50R garage sale find...and I've been searching the forum quite a bit and asking for advice.

I've seen these china front ends in person and decided against it. I'm not a big fan of China bikes and/or parts. I have a china D1 rep. L/C 50cc pocket bike that is mostly euro parts now, and could easily have bought a nice used euro for what I've got into the China bike.

So, I've opted to rebuild the stock forks with new CroMo +1" lowers and HD springs, and add a new billet bar clamp for a little $$, but it will last. And, still be able to run the stock hubs and 4x8 tires.

Cheers,
Greg
