Has anyone done this? I have a TB 88 kit on it also. Any advice would be great.

the valves on the older z50 head is bigger then on the newer heads. i think the size on the older head is close to the xr70 head. im not to sure cause im still learning all this to. you might have to get a difrent piston if you want to put the newer head.

if the 88 kit is designed for the 74 model then the piston will probably hit the head because the later models have smaller combustion areas and smaller valves.
Why would you want to change to a smaller head?

got the head cheap on ebay and my head needs valve seals. oh well i'll just have to take the head apart.
