Do you need any special tools? and is it the same for all Horizontal engines ?

All I use is a big long 17mm wrench to take off the tappet cover, then a 9mm box and some needle nose pliers to adjust the adjuster. Also you'll need feeler gauges. And your not supposed to jam that tappet cover tight when reinstalling. Manual calls for 10 ft/lbs on those huge friggen threads.
