| Aermacchi 250 in a Dax or CL70?
Anyone every see or hear about someone putting an Aermacchi 250 in a ct70 or other mini? Seems plausible. I think it would be a hoot to pop one of these inside a frame. My best guess would be to put it inside an sl70 frame based on the frame design, but if you could anchor it from the bottom, say a cradle mount and use the engine crash guard, it would work on a ct70 for sure. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. In stock form, in 1966, this engine made 35hp. I figure I can get 40 now a days and convert to a charging 12v system. |

Aermacchi Sprint motors of Italian design were big in the race scene in the 60's and 70's and you can still see them at every vintage race event. They did come stock on certain Harley's of that era.
