| Anyone know if a CRF wheel will fit a 92 Z50
I need a new rear for my 92 Z50R and was thinking about swapping to CRF wheels so I can run street tires. Anyone done this and know if it is possible? Thanks! |

The rear is a little wider. You need to shave a little off the brake panel end and a little off the wheel spacer (I forget the exact amount maybe 2mm off each). I just run a CRF50 fork so the front obviously was a simple bolt on. Here's a couple of mine.   |

As an alternative option there are some great 8" street tires available now. (4" wide too!) Search Heidenau K65 or you can easily score some Kings tires online. Fast MCs bike = dope!  |

Here is my 1997 Z with CRF 10" wheels. I had to make new wheel spacers for front and back and a front brake stop extension.

Did you have to run CRF/XR brakes along with the wheels or did you use your stock Z50 setup? I really dont want to have to also buy brakes!
