Ape50 Build Progress Pic's

Well things have been coming along with the Ape. In the next couple weeks I will be taking it to the DMV to get the new plates and such for it. Here are some updated photo's of where I am at at the moment. I will start with where the bike began.... and where it is today. Hope you like it and I will get more up as soon as I disassemble it for powder coating.

Very Nice....

That's the only bike I don't have that I wouldn't mind owning.. I'll merely live vicariously through you...

Re: Ape50 Build Progress Pic's

Thanks Dan. Here are some more pic's. What do you all think of my mirrors? They have the turn signals built into them so I don't need to make something for the front. Little bit of a cleaner look I think.

Very nice Pierce. I like the NSR 3 spokes and the disc brakes. Looks awesome, good work.

Thanks everyone. The forks are custom Kitaco fork bottoms with the stock ape tops. The head light bucket is stock for the bike.

Looks great Pierce.

Do you know of any other Ape owners here in the states with custom ones?

I have not located anyone other than the white one on ebay owned by GPC Moto. I wish someone else was out there to buy my spares

very nice bike. At least you know you can roll anywhere in the US and not run into another one!

Question, does it have a 17 or 10 digit VIN?

Re: Ape50 Build Progress Pic's

It started life with a 10 digit but now has a 17.

As for getting one in the states good luck. I have only seen one more and they didn't really want to sell it too bad on ebay.
