Fiddy of the Month

Best birthday present ive ever got

So my wife suprised me with a brembo radial brake, mount braket, fork brace, front fender and gas cap for my monkey bike. I had no idea she looked into my contacts and found my parts resource. Well she found out what i had on order and paid and had it shiped to her. All at the same time i was getting the run around that things were on back order. I was wondering why it was taking so long. Low and behold i got it last night at my B day party.

Im so stoked. this brake setup is insanly overkill but hell that pretty much the theme of my bike anyway.

this pic shows how close it is to the rim.

i had to off set the rim with 2mm spacers in two different points for the time being to get it to work. So in total the front rim is offset by 4 mm. I plan to grind down the back side of the caliper so i can remove the spacers but i need to check a few things out first.

here is another shot of the setup

and last one/

cool present but you're right... that's overkill... even for a hayabusa! Do they make a larger one?!

And you thought my truck tires looked rediculous?

Here's a picture of a simliar setup not mounted on the bike. It's definately a work of art on a Monkeybike and if you are going to build the best, you might as well use the best parts available to get the job done right. I'd run that on my project, but they don't make it in black, and I want matching calipers.

Nice looking piece, Brad..
