| Best carb choice TB108
I just assembled a TB108cc motor for use in my soon-to-be wife's ct70. It is a 4sd from a trx70 with auto clutch. The top end is a TB108cc with the new race head. Is a VM26 too much for this thing? What carbs, besides the 24mm shengway they offer, are about right for this. As an aside, I am very impressed with this kit. The last time I purchased a TB kit was over 4 years ago. Looks like a lot has changed since then. Boy the quality has dramatically increased. I couldn't believe how thick the cylinder sleeve was on this thing for a 52mm. |

You'll be able to tune the 26. Run a TM-MJN24. Your wife will love doing wheelies.

I ran the TB108 and a Mikiuni 26 on my Motard bike with much success. It will be a fun motor for her CT70!

Jed, glad to hear you're running the 26, I thought I was going to have to be someone's wife to run mine (LOL). I've heard the VM26 runs well on this setup, I just purchased this identical setup and can't wait for my beater. To reinterate what MSZ said, the Yosh carb is the ultimate, looks cool also.

| Re: Best carb choice TB108 I tried a similar carb (Mikuni 24mm flatside) on my TB108 with old style racehead. Anything over half throttle bogs pretty bad. The jetting is a 130 main and a 15 pilot. I haven't tried it again with smaller jets, I was thinking around a 105 or 110 main. any sugestions?
