I finally got around to rebuilding the top end with a 88 BBK for stock head on the original '86 Z50RD Honda motor and took the China 86 off the bike. I had been running the stock carb & exhaust and was wondering what's the best size carb to go with to pep it up some - 20mm? - 22mm? - other?. I'm going to put a bigger better flow exhaust on it at the same.

I run a 22mm on my 88 with tb race head. If I were you I would run run a 20mm for a stock head.

I thought a 20mm was probably the way to go, I'm not out to squeeze every ounce power out of it but want to at least take advantage of the extra cc's. Thanks Crawler
