big gun exhuast

how much horsepower and torque would the big gun pipe add to my z50 and will it sound better than the stock exhaust with the baffle out?

Uhh, the z50 pipes dont come with a baffle anymore. You wont notice anything different from stock, except it will be louder.

There are better pipes out there. The Minigunz is probably the best domestic pipe available, and there are tons of options overseas.

Z50King, im pretty sure there will be a difference, how big, I do not know, but the pipe is larger in diameter than stock.

The yoshimura Type 5 tri-oval will give the most power difference, but still it's only neglible.

Yosh doesn't make a pipe for the Z50R, only the CRF/XR50

Yes they do. However, it's a down pipe for use on the street. If you have $750 burning a hole in your pocket, you can own the best Z50 pipe ever made as well. I'd recommend running it with 10" tires unless you like to see Titanium sparks on the ground

Freddie - This thread is about up pipes for the Z50R used in the dirt, not performance pipes for Monkeys and street Z50's.

Not to mention you will need a 108cc or better mtoor to actually use that pipe.

That's completely false. You are applying dirt logic to a street bike. The Yosh is designed for 88cc displacement and larger and will be just fine with an 88. I have one sitting on the workbench and it has dyno charts for the 88 in the instructions.

Oh exquise me, in europe th Z50R's are used for onroad. And as for the Yoshi type 5, you can use it on every engine, a couple of guys over here use it on 50cc. Still an exhaust doesnt realy change much power wise.

That end cap is to get it around the rear spring. Either that or have it blast soot all over the spring and the number plate. But that thing is large in diametre so it doesnt bring down performance any.
