Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper company like pro taper or fast 50's that sells bmx bars that are wide enough in the mounting area to bolt to a stock Z50. The mounting area is like 3.75" outside to outside if i remember right. The BBR bars I bought for it bend up too soon, the straight area measures like 3". Let me know what bars you guys are running! I need something around 8" tall, but I don't want to spend a mill on the daytona bars.

Reilly118 posted up a good bar option from a US scooter. Look through his threads. Kitaco and Takegawa make some cheaper bars as well. Daytona's are more expensive since they are stainless steel and not chromed steel.

I used straight-up BMX bars on my '74.

I picked up three used bars from Ebay for $28 delivered.
