Here is a pic of a beat down old z that I can pick up for almost nothing and was wondering what it was. Looks like a lot of work, but might be fun ... The wheels are solid instead of the normal holes ...

Post it up in the regular z section. I don't know much about them, but it's a hardtail.

oh damn , I thought I did post it in the regular Z section ... I guess not . Maybe a mod can give me a little help moving it to the proper place ...

They're not rigid. Look in the first pic - where the paint has rubbed off.

Jimmy,

Looks like a huge money pit to me. Get the VIN # on the frame and engine before you purchase that thing. There was a couple of companies who built clones (Happ Jones being one of them) during that period so you need to figure out what it is before you buy.

You should have held onto the Monkey. However, the buyer of your monkey will eventually do some serious evil with that bike with a slew of custom one-off parts.
