If you have the MCO or title...then yes you can plate it. If not...you are out of luck.

I wondered about this as ITS list 1994-2008 Under 300cc as a class for title service? I am thinking about tagging my 2001 Lifan 50 at some point but the PO could not find any of his paperwork, I contacted American Lifan, and did not get any help re: MCO - MSO. Has anyone used ITS for a newer bike?

Re: can you register ct70 clone

CT70's are easy to register using the title service. They are in the system. Problem is that you may encounter a Lifan that is not...then you are in trouble.

Any year ct70 can be titled using the ITS title service...

Re: can you register ct70 clone

http://www.its-titles.com/

I've used them, they offer either tags and title or title only. What they do for the title service is have you 'sell' the car to them, they register it in Alabama and 'sell' it back to with the AL registration a letter from AL stating that it is a no title state and then you go to your DMV/ MVA and title it locally. If you have friends or famliy in Alabama they can do the same slightly cheaper.

Re: can you register ct70 clone

DO NOT GET A TITLE! Here in CT we don't need to title anything older than 1981. Whip up a bill of sale, get VIN verification done at DMV, and you're all set. If you pay to get a title and bring it to DMV, they take the title and do not issue a new one and you are out all the money you dished out to ITS.
