So I've put in 280miles in the last two days and no minis. Its a Ducati Hypermotard 1100 s. I went out riding with Jokerio on his Desmosedici yesterday while riding my DRZ400SM and it was the last straw. I was doing fine on my DRZ400SM riding amongst a duperduke, zx10, R1 and your assortment of liter bikes until we hit some wide open spots. Then I surely missed my full size open class sport bike. I was left in the dust till the next turn where I found one of them picking up there bike from laying it down in some gravel. Poor dude was just breaking it in. Never the less it wasn't his fault the gravel patch was as big as a parking spot. Still not even that detured me from wanting something faster. So ive been thinking of the hypermotard since they were released. I picked it up yesterday used with only 930 miles on it. I bought it from the 2nd owner of a line of guys that just wanted to try it out. I have since put 200+ miles on it over the weekend. 160 with my wife today ( what a trooper). The bikes amazing. Ive done a ton of different roads on it from your tight goat trails, to wide open sweepers. Still a lot to get used to. No joke that the ape would smoke in in the super tight stuff. The DRZ is on the chopping block. All though im sure im still faster on it for the most part in many different roads but i think with the right amount of seat time ill get the pace up on the Hyper. Funny, this is the first bike ive owned that there is absolutely nothing i want to modify on. |

I test drove one of those at Vintage Days Ohio and really liked it other than the searing heat it produces.

Dont want to modify anything??????? Oh you'll be putting some carbon and billet parts on soon enough. Thats a great bike though. Nice buy. How about starting a new project: A Crf50 "Hypermini" with a single sided swingarm. |

I was thinking of asking for 5000.00 for it as its got a good amount into it with low miles. Only about 2500 on it since i did the 440 bore kit and added the FCR39 carb the bottom end has less then 4000miles on it. Comes with the much needed corbin seat, 3.9 gal gas tank, axle sliders, slightly worn conti SM tires, re-geared sprockets for better top end speeds, edge LED tail light and a complete other set of plastics and tank in yellow + two other seats (stock and a gel seat). You interested? I might be able t throw in a stock APE50 motor for you. B

Ive been eyeing them for a while just keeping it to myself. All i needed was the by in from the wife on the idea. When the barely used one came up i jumped on it.
