I was contemplating gettting a gorilla tank for my lifan frame. I emailed TB and asked if they carried them (they dont) and was told they dont quite fit the US monkey frames. Has anyone purchased a CHP (or any other brand) gorilla tank and successfully installed it on their monkey frame or lifan frame? Please post pics if possible.

Maybe the reason that you have not gotten any reply's is that it's a clone? You may want to post in the China section?

"Some" of the chinese Gorilla tanks are made for Chinese extended frames and the rear tank mount does not line up on a Honda frame.

This is what you need to clarify when making a chinese tank purchase and have a guarantee from the vendor you buy it from that it fits or your $$ back.

I never know if its okay to post clones questions and related items here. I know on the other mini board (Minitrail) they frown on it and have a clone section.

It will mount to a Z50R 79-87 frame. Not 88-99. Have done it.

If I walked into my local Honda dealer and asked if they could get me an OEM Gorilla tank they would look at me like I was from another planet.
