Chrome Frame Is Done !

Hey guy's just got the frame back from the chrome shop, What do you all think the next step should be the motor??? Swing arm?? SP5 Forks??? If its the motor what hot rod motor do you all think?? I am leaning towards the GPX. How about some input. Then I will post pics of the next step when it is complete!!

To much chrome

You all don't think a chrome tank would be too much chrome??? Now that I think about it maybe it would look cool. It cost's $175 to chrome it. I like the idea of rebuilding the Honda motor, I think minigunz will let you send it to them and they will rebuild everything in it. Although if ya remember I have 2 50"s one I was gonna build a hot rod... when finished I will rebuild the other one bone stock. So I have been thinking about the GPX. I have read good things about it on this site. Also I can't find them sp 4's on bbr's website??

You'd better run some longer then stock forks if you want to run a GPX mill or you are going to have problems with the motor hitting the front tire.

Remember, a stock honda cylinder is 63mm tall, and the GPX uses a 78-79mm tall cylinder and the head is a touch bigger as well.

I do have a question for you. Who did you send the frame out for the chrome work and how much did it cost you? If you don't feel confortable posting this up, you are welcome to send me a private message in the deal. I'm looking to get the same thing done for an older frame and the local chrome shops suck eggs.

Gonna run sp5's probably, and to chrome the frame was $175. Only one chrome shop left in Bakersfield California. Chrome shops are tuff to run, at least in California due to waste created and environmental issues!

Can you PM me the number for the chrome shop? I'm having a hard time finding a good shop to have the work done.

If you get a +10cm swingarm, you are going to want 305mm shocks. 330mm shocks are for +16cm over stock swingarms.
