| CRF/XR 50 pipes fit on a CT70??
Well, do they? I'm building a 70 and had a Yosh CRF50 pipe in mind and need to know if they fit before I order. Thanks.

My Mood: | Re: CRF/XR 50 pipes fit on a CT70?? ![]() I welded up a custom heat shield from the stocker and part of a stock CT70. The only mounting mod was I needed to make a small strap (about 2.5" long to go from the shock bolt to the CRF mounting tab. Sounds nice and mellow too. |

I fitted my Pro Circuit T-4 Exhaust from my CRF50 onto my CT70 yesterday. All I would need for it to work would be a bracket like makotosun made. Other than that, it looked good.

| Re: CRF/XR 50 pipes fit on a CT70?? Since the Yosh system is a bit larger than your typical exhaust, you may run into clearance issues with the rear shock. Motarded- This i would like to know as well. Maybe the CRF70 pipes fit without any bracket needed |

I know that the CRF70 pipes have way more bends then the 50 pipes. They have some bends to tuck inside of the rear subframe that the 50s dont have. The 50 pipes are amuch straighter shot from front to rear.

The CRF50 pipe I used is pretty wide where it passes the shock, unlike the stock exhaust that has an indent built in to go around it. It does sit out a bit, but it is not a problem without a passenger. If you ride one 2 up much, you may need to do some footpeg relocating or something. |
