You have got two nice models there! My first one was a 70' CT70 in blue sapphire. Good luck!

AWesome. His and hers...what a find! I remember lots of older motohomers having these on the front and rear of their rigs back in the 70's. That was a common site on the road.

Haha I wish but I'm only 17. Yeah I understand that these bikes were awesome back in the day cuz they are so convenient. It's crazy how little space the bikes can fit in cuz the bars fold down.

Re: CT 70's restoration

Bump. Does anyone know if a new cylinder made for a crf 50 will fit on this motor? I was also wondering if you could run a domes piston with a stock head?

Nope. You'll need a short stroke cylinder, as well as a short stroke head.

Find an ATC70 doner for the top end, be sure and get an ATC70 intake as well. Most power/dollar.

Much larger intake and exhaust valves, intake port is also much larger. Type ATC70 head into the search engine here, lots to read.

Re: CT 70's restoration

A correctly restored (all stock, correct paint, chrome, alum.,cables, blah blah) CT70H KO will bring $4000. 95+ point resto. Most desirable USA model.
