| ct70 with chinese 125 pitbike suspension
I have a friend that has a chinese 125 pitbike with inverted forks and a monoshock rear both ends have hydraulic brakes that work very well. Also it has larger wheels then most 50s I see. I am thinking about buying it to grafting the suspension and wheels onto an old worn ct70 frame. Question 1 Will the front just bolt on? Question 2 Has anyone made a pitbike swingarm fit inside the ct frame and If so is it easy or a lot of work? Question 3 Do you know if the intake and carb will clear the ct frame? Question 4 Do you think one of these pit bikes in good running condition is worth $400 I think that a ct with a fairly power full engine and decend suspension about 6 inch front and rear would be terrific. The seat it self would be like having 3 extra inches over the pit bike. Looking for the next project. Thanks Pete |

My answer to all your questions is take a measuring tape to the chinese pitbike and measure all the areas you are concerned about and get your friend to bring his bike to your place so you can compare and measure at the same time.
