anyone know the best way to swap a newer cdi xr style engine into my 1980 ct70. i have an xr engine already. i'm assuming i'll need a stator with a lighting coil and regulator and some type of harness. where is a good source for this stuff? thanks in advance.

The following link to dratv's site covers swaping a clone CDI engine into a ct70. I think his new motor was still 6 volt, but it should be similar to your proposed swap. He even sells some conversion harnesses.
