ct70 flywheels

I've been working on two ct70's, both are 1971s but one has the four speed motor and the other the 3 speed. I've heard that the flywheels/stators are different between these two engines. So my question is, will the flywheel from a 3 speed work on the 4 speed stator? I have an extra one laying around so id rather use that than have to wait for another.

Re: ct70 flywheels

They are different. You can't use a 3 speed flywheel on a 4 speed.
