| ct70 K1 fork rebuild?
My forks leak and are super soft. I could rebuild them but I'm not sure if it would be worth it. With stiffer springs and new seals would they still bottom so easy?

I just rebuilt my K1 resto-mod forks. I installed the stiffer springs, 15wt. fork oil and new seals from DrATV. The forks are substantially stiffer. I would suggest replacing the rear shocks as well. Good Luck!

Which rear shocks did you do? Do your fronts bottom out coming down from a wheelie?

OrangeCT, I used a pair of shocks from DrATV. I have a complete new set available that are a great match for the heavier springs offered by DrATV. PM me is you are interested. No bottoming with the fork rebuild. |
