Todd, Are you going to slam the bike? What size and how wide are the wheels you want to run? Do you want a stock length swinger or longer then stock? There's 3 different companies who make CT swingarms and The Kitaco and Regaspeed swingarms are crap for the cash outlay. Which leaves G-craft. With G-craft, you have about 10 different configurations depending on materials of the swingarm, how wide you want it, and other factors. I can recommend shocks based on what you want the ride height on the bike to be. So, rather then type a book, hit me up here in the forums or via PM if you don't want your build to be public and we can discuss. |

I am pretty sure I will be going with stock length on the swinger. I am running the kitaco wheels from my supermoto bike. The Kitaco forks as well. I decided to make a stem instead of buying new clamps. Going to do some measuring tomorrow and figure everything out. I will probably get the longer stem done over the weekend. I have no clue where this is going to make the bike sit but I might have to consider buying fork extenders. Dont know where I want the bike to sit yet either though, So shock length for the rear is up in the air. But I guess I can decide on a swinger right now? and it is looking like G craft is the way to go. either that or I am just going to go with the stock swinger. I want some good+cool looking rear shocks. Is anybody making cooler looking controls for these things? as far as like a rear brake pedal? |

You'll need fork extenders unless you plan on slamming the bike in the front and rear. G-craft and Kitaco make 'em. I'd highly recommend the extenders. The downside is you won't be able to run preload adjusters. If you are going to run your Kitaco 9-spoke wheels, get the std length swinger by G-craft in your flavor of materials with our without supports, race stand hooks, etc. *Edit - G-craft can make you one for use with the Monkey wheels rather then having to screw around with the different rear brake assembly the CT uses unless you want to do some light machining to make the CT brake plate work with your wheels. I've never messed with that, and it may be bolt-on, I don't quite know. |

How low will it sit without the extenders? are the extenders solid? any info on those? how they look when installed? how strong they are? etc. The ct drum doesnt fit on the wheels. I already modified the stock swinger for the Z drum. Not a big deal. If I order a G craft I will just buy one already set up for the Z drum.

Measure the stock forks. Measure your Kitaco Forks you already have and mock up accordingly. I have 550mm fork legs (NSR) and added 65mm extenders but only needed about 50mm and have about 15mm of the extender sticking out of the top of the clamps. They are solid machined pieces of aluminum and look great. | |

The extenders are pictured in the upper left hand corner of this pic. |
