| ct70 wheels on z50r?
i have a 1989 z50r and looking into extending swingarm to +2" and the suspension mods to suit, anyway im looking into getting the 10" ct70 wheels so i can run a more vast range of tires (id run stock 8 x 3.5 rims in a heart beat if they were more practical for my property), would these bolt up alrite to stock swinger and forks and would i be able to run a crf50 front end with them? any help would be much appreciated, |

No. You also would be adding so much more rotating mass to the z. Those things are bricks! Too heavy. Ct70 forks are actually narrower than Z50 forks by about 2 cm. Best bet: Invest in a set of Kitaco 3.50 -10" alum. rims. Use your original hubs. Perfect fit. I think CHP has a set of 10" alum wheels on sale for $100 in their catalog. Probably knock-off Kitaco. Keep your stock forks. Add HD springs, bushings, +1" fork legs from Fast50's and you will be good to go! Have done it many times. It works. |
