My Mood: | CT70 with XY 150cc pic request & Questions
I just ordered a 150cc XY with today from Vince at T-Bolt! Have some questions for anyone who might have this style on engine. Mine will be the Daytona style with the filter. Will the rear brake lever hit the clutch cover? Heard I'll need to space the footpegs a bit, any idea how much? Anyone have a base line jetting I can start with at for the OKO 26mm? Sprocket suggestions? I had a 15 frt & 35 Rr. thinking of getting a 31 rear sprocket. Sound good for the street? BTW Vince took my order and answered my 21 questions TODAY! Yes on a Sunday! Seemed like a real easy person to talk to and very helpful! Can't wait to get it in and running!! What kind of MPH are you all getting? Thanks for your help! |

Vince said it has the outer rotor that should power lights, if it doesn't though I know he will get me what I need. I'm getting excited for it to get here!

15/35 !!!!!! i have a 125 on z50 that runs 14/26 on 8 inch wheel sounds to me like you still have bit of torque left. maybe 15/30 would be better for the street,

Ya sorry I'm stuck in the 80's i guess..lol. Ya I was thinking a 15/31 with the new motor. I would like to get 60 mph or so out of it since it will be on the street in the spring. Any likes or dislikes on the oko 26mm carb? This will be my first so wondering about pilot and main jet sizes. I'll post pics when the engine gets here. Just hoping too the outer rotor will run my lights.

Ok here is an early pic of the install. I got the beast in last night and am waiting on a few parts. Looks like I will need to space down the footpeg bracket a bit. Going to paint them first again. The powder coating is wearing thin after 3 years of abuse. I mocked in the pipe and everything lines up perfect so far. I think the whole bike is going to get a repaint in the spring. Getting rough around the edges. I did put more miles on this though than my 05 ZX6R last year..... |

Yes, Im pretty excited to give it a spin, even with it being 20 degrees out I'd take it for a ride!! Need a 31 tooth rear sprocket yet though, the 15/35 may be a bit much with this motor.
