And the 146 BVH motor that's in my bike right now really sucks down the fuel....Finally got out for a nice ride today and had to push it the last 3 miles home....

.....Sorry had to vent a little....boy are my legs tired.

Jim,

Why do you think I run the G-craft Aux tank for?

In all seriousness, go to a camping store and purchase one of those 1 liter fuel bottles with the screw on cap. Strap it to your bike and use it as a reserve aux. tank. It's the $10 solution.

Yeah, I'll need to do something. I had a half tank,,,, 25 minutes later I was walking !

... I'm kind of surprised it sucked it down nearly dry,,,it almost looks like the last 1/4 tank has to flow uphill to the carb.. No idea on mileage yet,,I just got this thing out. It's kind of slapped together just so I can get a little riding in before the weather turns cold again. It's a temporary motor,,,and the gearing's way off. Will run past 60 and will wheelie in fourth with a little tug. I'll get a few pics up of what I got done so far.

It's a universal mounting system, you can use it on any bike you have, Jim...

Get one of these for $10-$15. They will hold 33oz of fuel and are used for Camping fuel and can be carried anywhere. Cheap and easy solution...

If you are looking for a saddlbag style tank, Kolpin makes a 1.25 gallon model and they make a neat little bracket to mount it too. I have seen them quite a bit cheaper at a website I can't locate at the moment, but these are great quality, can be stacked, and they have a matching water tank if you are going camping.

I just bought one for my other CT. Good find. I am going to mount a bung on it and run it directly through the frame and T it into my exiting line just before the petcock.
