| Custom Honda trx 70?
Hey guys! I'm looking to buy a Honda TRX 70 for my girlfriend. Here is what I have planned. I want to pull the stock engine and replace it with a 125-150cc clone engine. Do you think I will have any problems? Who makes a good 125-150cc engine with an electric start? Could I adapt a pull starter to a clone engine or just use the kick starter? Do you think I will have any clearance issues with the carb or frame? Has anyone on the board done this yet to a TRX70? Let me know what you guys think. I think a big engine in a TRX70 would be wicked fun! Thanks

Yes, you can adapt a pull start, but you better hang on!! Check out GlamisDunes.com :: Information Regarding Glamis and the Algodones Sand Dunes in their ATC70 section - it was where I first got my feet wet with these types of engines. There are tons of builds where people put chink engines in the trikes. There is a guy on here with a full susp 70, I'm sure he knows alot more about this than I do. DAVE |
