i have the sub5 wiring harness and am needing help! i have a plug coming from the engine that plugs to the CDI but i also have the same plug coming from the sub 5 wiring harness. :O please help guys i wanna ride today!

Might be wise to just snip off the other connector and wire it up like my lifan stator...

the pictures in that link are what i have already, yet my confusion is in the cdi plug coming from the engine, and the one in the wiring. idk if i can get pictures

alright---- picture.
this is my wiring harness as of now. the plug shown in the pic is said to (on dratv) to be plugged into the cdi box. now, there is the exact plug also coming from the engine where the rest of the wiring comes from. PIC

OK, so how many wires are comin out of the engine, and do the colors match up to my picture?

Snip that connector off and wire up things as if there was no plug coming off of the wires from the motor.

there are 5 wires, all of which match to yours except for the blue/white on yours is blue/yellow on mine. but in addition, theres this plug PIC

that originates from above the sprocket

that have the colors....
pink, green/red, green/black, blue/red, and purple... i guess im just a bit hesitant about cutting it off, incase i DO need it..

You dont have to cut it off just leave it. It's for some sort of gear indicator setup. You dont need any of those wires to run your bike.

Dude, you can use that connector to trigger different cold cathodes so your ground effects change color as you shift!
