So I took the monkey yesterday to a low budget chopper build off. Pretty much no Harley's allowed. Pretty cool event that happens each year. Depicts a lot of the San Francisco motorcycle culture, and its truly amazing what you can get away with in the bay shore district (birthplace of the side show).

here is my ride out to it along with some footage from the event.

OMG!! thank you for posting! i really like the 4cyl choppers and that red honda dirt bike chopper and also the the riveted flame thrower bike, among others. wow those are some neato builds.

I saw some pics of this on another forum and one of the pics had your bike in it, Brad...I think. Red and white? Dual outlet upswept muffler? Lots of braided stainless?

Cool photos here. You caught a lot of quirky stuff. How about that license plate u-bolted to the exhaust stack with muffler clamps on that XS650 chop?

Ive seen them before just never in person. I though it was a German thing. They drag race them in the dirt. See who gets the farthest the fastest kind of thing.

The Rat Bike Zone. Here's the link to the post, which in turn contains the link to one of those slide-show deals with photos of the event. Your bike comes up in the background of one of the first several photos.
