disc brakes on a 72?

does anyone have any information on any companies that make disc brakes?
i might be able to make some parts since im taking machine at my school.

Im using a braking USA disk on my monkey bike. you may also want to look for a used NSR disk as an option.


DO you plan to make the whole hub to mount the disk as well as the caliper mounting bracket. what to you plan to mount the caliper to on the fork. i think you will need a different fork setup for mounting options.

Rear disc wouldn't really stop you any faster than the drum, save your $

If you have access to a lathe you should be able to make lots of different stuff work


Reeg kit on a Douglas wheel - I know it's on a CRF but the Douglas doesn't normally accept the disc & has a detachable hub.

if you ride the street that's a good way to hurt yourself. THe front does like 75% of the stopping under hard braking. You can get away with no back brake but I doubt anyone will go without a front brake.
