What early year z50 mini trails came in the red and white that were street legal. I want to start collecting parts to build one and suprise my dad with. I believe he said it was a 70 or 71 if that helps

my friend has a 1970 z50... it has a lisence plate bracket and a brake light. not sure if at one point it had blinkers or not.

my Z50 AK1 '69 had brake light switch in the brake wire... plate holder too... a battery but no blinker. original red & grey... street legal... euuhh i don't know.

The Z50's were never street legal, but so much time has passed, you can make them street legal.

Yeah my grandpa was a cop so he got it pushed through pretty easy. I believe his had a headlight so it would have been a little newer than 69 when did those start? If any one has pictures of red and white ones please post them.

my 72 has a headlight and it was the first year with suspension if that helps at all
