| Excessive Play in Front Suspension
Hello, So my son and I have been riding the z50 around and last night I noticed that when he applied the front brake the entire wheel/pipe assembly shifted backward. After a quick look I would say that there is entirely too much backwards/forwards play right now. In looking at the exploded view of the "Front Cushion" as Honda calls it, and am guessing that my Front Fork Pipe Guides are probably worn out, but I thought I would run it past everyone here before I order the parts. From what I can see online, they appear to be made from Nylon. Am I on the right path here, or could it something else causing the play? Thanks in advance. Jim |

yes, buy some heavy duty fork bushings. have you tightened the upper bolts on the forks? the two that go into the upper triple clamp? those can come loose |

I also have a similar "looseness" What about the play in the entire front end? Are there bushings in there, or bearings? Do they commonly need to be replaced of upgraded? |
