Wow! nice bike and great picture. I like the way you zoomed in so you don't see your reflection and blur the background at the same time. Skyteam Monkeys look very nice. If you have clearance issues with that yx140, you might need an offset triple clamp or longer fork legs. or....I wonder if you can flip the forks in the clamps so the axle is in front of the forks rather than behind. The brake will be on the right side so you won't have a fitment issue. It'll increase your wheelbase by a little more than an inch. I don't know how that would affect your handling but maybe the suspension experts can chime in. |

it would rock with the yx140. Better get a longer swingarm. My Zongshen 125cc motor does unintentional wheelies from 1st to 2nd gear and I'm running a 17/33 gear ratio. Looking at the forks again, you might run into an issue with the front brake caliper not bolting up correctly. The only way to find out is to try it. Good luck. Do you know if the bike is already 12 volt or is it a 6 volt? If it's a 12 volt, you're ready for that yx140 (as long as it has a lighting coil already in it). I rode a RedBarron xr50 based bike with a the same 140 and it power wheelies in 3rd no problem... Much to my surprise a jialing125 is only 1" longer. Last edited by RLucky82; 07-17-2008 at 09:14 PM. | |
