Finished my Honda XR75!

All done! Completed it before I left for Mini Moto in Vegas.

Went for the vintage racer look. It's a 1976. Here's the details. Hope you like it. She is a rider, so lots of powdercoat!

Motor: Complete rebuild w/ 80cc Powroll kit / Kittle White Ti valves/springs/ Barnett clutch kit/ DG Replica pipe/Polished head cover/ all nos gaskets/seals/kickstart shaft/shifter shaft/ original Kehin Carb rebuilt/ Dual Uni-Filter/ Alum. motor mounts

Frame/swingarm/brake pedal/number plates/triple trees/chain guards/flywheel cover/ rims/hubs - Powder coated!

Seat recovered/ Renthal Vintage MX bars/Fast50's billet throttle & shifter/New cables/ Alum. brake rod

Paint: Tank & fenders are Sikkens base/clear. Decals are cleared over.

All "swiss cheese'n" to levers/brackets by me. Old school stuff!

Runs great! Not many left of these bikes. She's a keeper.

It looks real good. I have a 74 i'm working on. I plan on doing the 80cc kit on it. Did you put a cam in it?

I have a '77 frame, seat and tank if you wanna start from scratch
I'm switching my stuff over to an XL80S frame for ease of plating it.

Re: Finished my Honda XR75!

Thank you all for the compliments! Had this bike for 3 yrs. before I got to it. Original owner gave it to me. Had been in his garage in pieces since the mid-80's. Blown motor. Stripped kickstart shaft, etc. Needed a good home he said.

No stock cam. Run's stronger now than a stocker with the 80 kit/pipe. Just droppped the needle on the carb. Didn't need to even go up a main jet size.

No E, purchased them Al Baker's XR'S Only. Famous for XR build's.

Re: Finished my Honda XR75!

Suh-weeeet XR Razzo. A cam will add beans on top if you ever decide you need them....
I like the hub treatment....very "CZ-ish"...is it coming to Mid-O?

I just finished putting another 73 XR75 together...not gussied up like yours, just original parts....

I love little XR's!!

Re: Finished my Honda XR75!

Mike, another awesome build. I'm always so impressed.

Gotta say this one brings back some memories for me. An XR75 was my send bike back day. Although when I was a kid, my bike didn't look half as nice as this one does.
