| Finished the TERB!
My bike is up and running again. The new tank and seat look awesome. The NOS seat is a bit stiffer than the original and I could definately live with a softer one but it's free so I don't care too much. I'll post picutures soon but it's too early and there is not enough light. The TERB went together fine with the DrATV HD valve springs. The valve compressor works great. I just need to buy an exhaust so that my bike will not resitate upon when I gun it and so my skid plate will mount up. Currently, the exhaust is bent back so my skidplate won't mount. Hope I get my new one soon. Picutres will be up soon.

I enjoy the pics. I have two 84 z50r's myself. I learn about my bikes from projects he's doing to his 84. You gotta give credit to Q... he's only 14 and knows these z50's inside and out. He knows more about them than I do and I've been riding & wrenching honda 50's for 32 years. | |

My post count is back down to 6. Time to send a PM to the admin again. This time I'd like it set back to about 900. That's where it should be. Anyway, here are some pictures of my NOS tank and seat. The old ones will be up on eBay soon. I'll let everyone know. I need the money to buy an exhaust. And thanks for the props about me, d0n. Do you want the old seat? Some of your bikes might look better with it. Unless you like the blue seat in which case... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by arlindsay1992; 09-22-2006 at 11:06 AM. Yeah. I accidentally hit Post Quick Reply without the pictures. I'm waiting for photobucket to load. I'll have them up in a minute or so.

you should paint the swing arm and the bike would look brand new.

I would paint various red parts if I could find the right paint. The tank was about $150 plus shipping.

You bet it's clean! I had to wait like two weeks before my parts came. So what did I do? I washed and waxed every painted part, I steel wool-ed all the bare parts, I cleaned all the threads on nuts/bolts with a toothbrush, and detailed everything. Now, with the new tank, I'm seriously afraid of trail riding. I'm going to stay on wide well beaten trails now to keep everything safe. Yes it's street legal in my county. Doesn't need to be registered. As long as it's under 50cc and has three wheels or less, it is street legal without any paperwork at all. Pretty sweet and I don't even need a licence. The case is to cary various random things. I currently carry a combination bike lock, and spare fuel line because that is the easiest thing for someone to vandalize. Besides like tire presssure and tearing the seat and stuff.
