Question fork tech help,ok ok please!

z50r forks i have ,want to put hd springs +1 legs and bushings in them, a crf set is the same correct, except now i get fork guard mounts or am i wrong ,never had to do it and dont know ,help,and thanks in advance

Not 100% sure what you are asking, but crf forks are functionally the same as at least 79 z50 forks. I did the swap last night. The crf springs are a good bit stiffer, but fit right in.

you would need the crf bottoms for the fork guards but then you would have to use the crf wheel/wheels and i still don't know if it all fits together.

Yes, the CRF legs, springs, and bushings will work. The brake hub will be on the left side instead of the right like the Z's, since you will now be using the CRF legs.

I had a set of CRF legs on my Z.

I just put 1+ springs and 1+ crf50 legs on my '86 z50rd, one extra thing you might need is a longer front brake cable, I did. With the flipping drum side and lengthening the forks I was about 4" short.
